How it Works

Off-site Educators create and publish Events

Off-site educators define the content and schedule of events, publish them on the portal and then deliver the events live to schools.

Schools search for Events and participate in them

Schools search for appropriate events in a calendar, book the events they want to attend, participate in the booked sessions and then provide feedback comments.

Schools and Off-site Educator communicate directly

In addition to choosing events from the Calendar on the portal schools are given an opportunity to communicate with off-site educators directly by requesting similar events on different dates or suggesting other themes for upcoming events.

Users manage all their Events

Both off-site educators and schools have accounts on the portal from which they can view personalised calendars of completed and pending events, create analytic reports and carry out various administrative functions. In addition, off-site educators’ accounts have their branding information.

Organisations monitor their Activity

Both off-site educators and schools have different categories of users: administrators, who will typically manage the organisation’s account and have access to the data for the whole organisation, supervising users who either run or book events (event creators and teachers respectively) and participating users who attend events (students who attend webinars as individual attendees).

Data are protected

Access to features and data is controlled rigorously by user account permissions and protected by passwords.

Analytics

The data provided to the system by both off-site educators and schools becomes the basis for analysis.
The following reports can be created by off-site educators:

Events "Popularity"

The "popularity" of an Event is determined by the number of "clicks" by unique schools and guests it gets on the full event details page before the event and the number of clicks on its recording in the archive.

By applying different filters users can get analytical reports on the popularity of different event creators, subjects, topics and titles. By applying the "status" filter the user finds out, among other things, which titles were looked at but never booked.

Activity of the organisation
This report will help administrators to keep track of the number of events that have been organised by different departments within an organisation and different event-creators.
Exposure of events
The off-site educators can analyse how many students took part in their events, which areas they come from, their social background (Pupil Premium), current level of academic attainment (sets), how many gifted and talented students participated, how many students with SEN.

Activity of the school
This report will help administrators to keep track of the number of events that have been attended by different classes and booked by different teachers.
Event attendance
Teachers can monitor which classes attended how many events in which subjects. They will monitor the extra-curriculum activities of individual students.
Types of past events
This report will show what kinds of provision have been used by the school, whether it has been training for teachers, provision for individual students, curriculum events or career guidance activities.
